Application rules:

The default ruling of two weeks when reapplying has been put back in place.
Removed the money cost, which you need to create the family.
Addition of a rule about number of warnings / jailings to be given when applying.

You're story/background must be ORIGINAL, no copying from outside sources. Failure to follow this rule results in a ban from making families.

If you disband a family you may not create another one for at least a week.

Basic Rules:

When a vehicle is parked away from the home turf of the family, it will be removed with NO gang warning given.
Avoiding cops is a number one priority for any realistic criminal organisation. Gangs must roleplay the fear correctly.
Gangs must do research on their roleplay beforehand, sticking to realistic stereotypes rather than unrealistic ''movie antics''.
Family chat (/f) is completely OOC. We have a private radio script in-game for a reason.
When gangs have shootouts with eachother, the enemy gang cannot rob the injured parties. Realistically you would attempt to run. (Unless it was a robbable item that started the conflict).

Shootouts are to be roleplayed correctly.  No more movie style shootouts where two gangs sit there firing and chasing after each other for 15 minutes.  Realistically you fire on the other gang then get out of there.  Similar to a driveby.  Shootouts also cannot happen in high traffic areas, such as pizza stack, or hospitals.  They should be in opposing gang's hoods or territories.
Exceptions where you can shoot for longer would be if the shootout occurs inside an interior or house, or where two large gangs are already together and begin to shoot out.  However, gangs are to start running as soon as they can.

We also recommend with lower tier gangs, that shootouts are completely avoided, using brawls or perhaps the occasional driveby shooting are used.

Gang Relations:
When alliances are made, gangs must have roleplay reasons behind it. (Supplying of drugs, weapons, and such.)
When gang conflicts are made, there must be roleplayed reasons behind it. (Turf expansion, conflict between members)
Teaming against factions is not allowed, for gangs. Unless the faction, instigates the conflict between the two.
When you have been attacked by another gang, you cannot retaliate for another hour. (Members who have died, can assist in retaliating.)

Vehicle Rules:
All vehicles used by a family and it's members, must be within the gangs roleplay style.
Vehicles must be parked at the home turf of the family.
Vehicles given must be used in a roleplay way, or families are at risk of losing this benefit.
Vehicle changes, can be done if the family leader has a good reason and their family is in good standing with the Gang Moderation team.

Weapon Rules:
The use of light automatic weapons (Uzi, Tec-9 and MP5) are prohibited to anyone below the rank of 4 in a family.
The use of heavy weapons (M4, AK, Sniper and Spas 12) are prohibited to anybody below the rank of 4 in a family.  If anyone is caught using these when below the correct rank THEY will receive a gang warning on their account and the family leader will be instructed to take action by a gang moderator.  If it then happens again with the same person or anyone from the same family they will recieve a gang warning on both the players' account and the gang itself. With the Sniper this has been restricted to R5 +.
The use of small melee weapons is greatly encouraged to increase the roleplay of gangs/families.
Creation of ammo during roleplays, must be roleplayed completely. I.E, taken from a house or vehicle owned by the gang member of family.

Drive By Rules:

You are not allowed to drive-by against a group of LEO officers under ANY circumstances. However, if there is a legit roleplay to perform a drive by on ONE LEO it can be performed but the reason has to be good and if the reason is poor the the drive by system may be removed from your gang.

You cannot use the drive-by feature around the Inglewood (Ex Stacks), City Hall, Ganton Binco, Government Stations (LAPD, LASD, CHP, USMS, LAFD, RR and FOX 11).

All drive-bys must be roleplayed, otherwise the feature will be disabled for your entire family.

If you break any of the rules, you will be demoted and the permission will be revoked for the entire family.

In order to perform a drive by the family members must be rank 4 +.

Family Turfs

Families are only permitted to have 5 turfs.

We are putting this rule in place to allow people to roleplay in the turfs they have rather than claiming turfs and never using them.

If you opt to go against this rule and claim over 5 turfs, your family could be disbanded on sight.

TS and use of family chat:
Family channels, are completely OOC.
Families are allowed to roleplay using radios, we have a private radio script in-game which can be used IC'ly, however it's better roleplay to use the in game cell-phones.

Family chat (/f) is to be used for OOC purposes only. When using the /f command it is recommended that you add two brackets to the end so people know you are using it for OOC purposes instead of IC.

Gang Moderators will be using their own judgement to decide if a gang is inactive or not. You must have active members to keep the family.
If a family goes inactive, a gang moderator will attempt to contact you. You will have one week to respond, before being given an official gang warning.
If a gang leader is going away for a set date, they must tell a gang moderator. (, to do so.)

Unofficial Gangs:
Unofficial criminal groups must abide by the gang rules. Failing to do this will result in the group being disbanded, and potentially the leading members banned.

Unofficial criminal groups must have a topic within the "Families" section to display their history and roleplay. If it is not active, then their group may be disbanded by a Gang Moderator. This is to keep a small bit of order within the groups, and make sure everyone's having a fair experience within the server.

Cool Down Period:
After leaving a government faction, if you would then like to join a gang you must wait a minimum of two days. The same goes for leaving a gang and then heading to a government faction, you must still wait four days before joining. If you are removed from a faction you MUST wait one week before joining a family. Throughout these days, you are to roleplay as a civilian and not get into any criminal type activities. You may also decide to join a faction like, Rapid Recovery, LAFD or DOC for the week but that is up to the faction leader.  Faction Leader(s) can also approve you to be allowed to skip over the week waiting period.

[City of Los Angeles Official Press Release #3 - 18th of March, 2017]

The following document is for public review and was written by Assistant Mayor Paris Utorna. Editorial review by Press Officer Jolene McVeigh

Today, we did indeed, make LA great again. In the eyes of the citizens, the electorate, the women and men of the LAPD, the religious, the areligious, the green card holders and the immigrants. The appointment of LA's next Police Chief, in that being, Paul Morgan, represents a hope for tomorrow. He was the most courageous, most dedicated, most hard working, most well thought out, most supportive and most experienced candidate from our shortlist of 16 current Los Angeles Police Department High Command. In saying that, the decision was difficult and required a lot of consideration, thought and speaking to various members of various departments, from the LASD to the Californian State Senate, we believe that Paul Morgan will really bring change to the LAPD.

[Personal statement from Mayor Austin Vine]

"I will not lie; on a personal basis, I am not a fan of Mr Morgan, anybody who knows me well understands that, however, I tell you the truth in saying he was the strongest applicant for the position, with the most well-thought out plan, with the most extensive list of qualifications, but most importantly, the experience of an everyday officer. We did not want to appoint someone who did not have a clear understanding of the role of LAPD's Chief. It's not as black and white as you may believe, they do not have an ungodly power. It is stressful, requires a lot of paperwork, an unbiased mindset and a determination to work until you bleed. Paul Morgan checked all of those boxes, and that is precisely why he was chosen."

[Personal statement from Assistant-Mayor Paris Utorna]

"Paul Morgan was not my first choice for the position, however, I place my faith in Austin Vine in knowing that he will lead the LAPD to a sparkling and bright future, to rid the city of the corruption which once tainted it, to bring true equality to the enforcement of the law, and most importantly, be a symbol for the LAPD for years to come."

[Personal statement from Los Angeles Police Department Chief Paul Morgan]

"I would like to thank Austin Vine, Paris Utorna and Cornelius Miller for placing their faith in me to bring a re-organized, re-structured and overall better LAPD to you, the people of Los Angeles. I will be a Chief of the people, serving your everyday needs, enforcing the law to the best of my capabilities, with my officers doing their best to bring wrongdoers to justice. I hope you will enable us a transitional period as we move into a time of uncertainty, but the future is always a day away, and a day away is always brighter than today."

I, Austin Vine, affirm under the oath taken to protect the citizens of Los Angeles, that I solemnly swear, so help me God, Paul Morgan's appointment to the position of Chief within the Los Angeles Police Department

From the Power of the
people vested within me,
signed, Austin Vine

I, Paris Utorna, affirm under the oath to ensure the enforcement of federal law in all jurisdictions of the United States, that I solemnly swear, so help me God, Paul Morgan's appointment to the position of Chief within the Los Angeles Police department

From the Power of the
federal government
entrusted within me,
signed, Paris Utorna

OK, so I ran an admin with my vehicle everything was icly and he fines me without asking for the reason, is he allowed to do this?
Did you use any /me or just rammed them?
I used /me.
Is he allowed or no

If you didn't allow him to respond (/do) then he would fine you for being in violation of rules.

If you provided the reason for him fining you then it would be much simpler for us to give you an answer. If the reason was blank, then feel free to report him.
